Based on the coast of Maine, Lowe Hardware is steeped in Maine’s tradition of intelligent design and superior craftsmanship.

The Lowe family, with a history of boatbuilding and life near the ocean, were initially inspired to produce high-quality yacht hardware that could stand-up to the rigorous demands of the Sea.  What started in a small barn built by William M. Lowe over 30 years ago in the coastal town of Owls Head, has now expanded to include a state-of-the art manufacturing facility in Rockland, Maine, where all of our products are proudly designed, manufactured, and hand finished by an experienced group of Maine artisans, designers, and craftspeople.

Together, we pursue our craft producing timeless, durable hardware using both modern and time-tested methods, while assuring that our hardware surpasses the highest standards for form, function, and finish.
